Song of the Year day 30: 1999

Believe by Cher

The last hit of the century and millennium is Cher’s “Believe”.  A song about moving on after a breakup, the lines “But I know that I’ll get through this/Cause I know that I am strong” brought to mind a sword-wielding woman challenging a dragon to a chivalrous duel.
